It is reported on the authority of Anas Radiyal laahu anhu that the messenger of Allah (saw) said; “None of you truly believes till one likes for his brother what he likes for himself”.

The messenger of Allah told us not to hate, oppress and humiliate one another. People are sometimes overpowered by their selfish characteristics however after reading this saying of the prophet (saw) one should behave accordingly. This hadieth tells us that it is from faith that one should like for his brother what he would like for himself. Allah is in the aid of his slave so long as his slave is in the aid of his brother.
